Extreme Weather Rally Guidance
Following the UK Government’s announcement and
the Caravan & Motorhome Club Governance
directive, the following temporary rules apply to all Bedfordshire Centre Rallies until further notice
during the prolonged dry spell, to reduce the risk of fire:
- All disposable & charcoal BBQ’s are not allowed.
- Fire Pits & open fires are not allowed.
- No smoking when on long/dry grass. Butts to be disposed of in a metal can.
- No naked flames, this includes candles, gas/petrol lanterns, etc
- Keep vehicle off long uncut grass to avoid exhausts igniting dry brush.
Additional restrictions have been passed to rally officers, please check with
them upon arrival at the rally regarding these.
An Extreme Weather Fire Risk Assessment, has been issued to all relevant rally officers at this
time.
